ALDO ROMANO - RÉMI VIGNOLO - BAPTISTE TROTIGNON

Popular songs, protest songs, rock songs, French songs, poetic songs, love songs, corny songs… they accompany our lives whether we like them or hate them, whether we want to hear them or we try to escape them.  They have the power to move crowds, to soften hearts, to touch souls.  This is the sentimentality that Baptiste Trotignon, Rémi Vignolo and Aldo Romano brought to their trio - deliberately taking on melodies which are constantly on our minds, attached to a period when an entire generation held up hit songs like flags, and believing they could change the world with flowers.

FLOWER POWER

These eruptive interpretations stem from the combination of their own sensitivities, "Sea Song/Crying Song,” graceful moments in "Your Song" or the jubilation of "Black Dog,” a leap to "C’est Extra" and a more playful "Mr. Tambourine Man"  - a melancholic deepness in "Say it Ain’t So" or a more emotional "The End".  Proving that even without lyrics these songs are just as strong and can live a thousand lives so long as they cross paths with musicians like this trio to make them resound.  By the way, these guys deserve some flowers!
